Your ridiculous, grow up seriously

Im ridiculous??? Your the one who was waiting for the new cats to come out.... And then they break the barrier of the forced induction factory mountain sled.... and all you have to say leaning back in your computer chair is "Meh....... that didnt impress me im buying an old one". Like what were you going for starting this thread after all the excitment on here....and then you name it "--->HUGE<--- DISAPPOINTMENT"???? LOL

Gawd some people can be bitchy and critical.

With the D&D Hijacker for $599 us you can boost the HP on the previous Turbo 4 to 260+ HP. Even has a button for short boost increase like a NOS system for HP up to 290 HP. Apparently on pump gas!!

Speedwerx can give you 210 HP on 91 octane for $400. Just a reflash!

I imagine Cat thought this one out for the aftermarktet As someone else mentioned, insurance for a turbo is going to cost a lot even at lower HP levels. Keep the HP down stock but open up the aftermarket wide.

At the release they said not all the new models will be released today. Seems like there may be something else coming. Rumour is in the 600 class, possibly another 800. Time will tell.

Some weights are available. I ask this.....what would a 162 Summit with the 4 stroke and an aftermarket turbo weigh in and at what cost? I would like a real answer on this.

Cats M 162 1100 Turbo Sno Pro Limited is at 562 Lbs with a Cdn list of $16,249.

Too heavy...If you look in 2010 they had a picture of a 1200 summit... but then a couple months later it just "vanished". There is no point for doo to make a 4 stroke summit yet...The E-TECH is the wave of thier future. I figure a boost controller will be a more sold item than a skid plate on those new cats too haha.

33 Hp for $400 and you can run 91!! Cheap, cheap HP and that would give you 200 some HP all the way to the top. Crazy!

Of for sure man.. Thats definetly a plus... Everythings already there for a guy..Just hopefully people can show some restraint... I cant count how many people I know that will throw a chip or bully dog in a Diesel... Run it on extreme and cook a tranny. I can honestly tell you if I had a big red dial on my sled that was labeled "horespower"..... I would be broke from buying engines LMAO

Supertrax!!

Okay, we've been busting to tell you about the new Arctic Cat sleds for almost a month now and today the embargo is lifted and we can spill the beans.

We've ridden this sled rather extensively at two different sites (Minnesota & Montana) and our praise for the new chassis has been doubly confirmed. This is a breakthrough snowmobile.

The new F-series Cats are much lighter, more compact snowmobiles than Cat has produced since the days of the Firecat and the new sleds' hallmarks are twofold: Excellent ergonomics and most importantly, handling.

Frankly, there hasn't been a Cat that handles like this one since the days of the old sit-down ZR chassis and AC moves to the top of the handling heap in one fell swoop with this widely spaced double A-arm design.

This sled's neutral handling manners are better than any competitor and its knife-like ability to carve corners makes it a total blast to ride. This element has been sadly missing on Cats the past few years and now the fun-factor is back in spades!

The other big deal is the way the new 4-stroke Cat works. This is the first 4-stroke we've ridden that doesn't feel anything like a 4-stroke! Honest.

We can't believe how there's simply no handling compromise with last year's Z1 even-firing parallel twin under the hood. This is pure magic and finally, after almost ten years of 4-stroke sleds, somebody has finally managed to get it right.

They're retarded!!I was thinking of upgrading my m1000 but to what?A 800 that makes less horsepower or a 4 stroke that makes close to what mine was factory and weighs at least 100 lbs more!!!Plus was going to move my kids up to a couple of 600's but I guess I'll have to buy old stock or switch brands!!!All this waiting for cat seemed like a big waste of time!!!!!:realmad:

Not sure where you get ur numbers from, an m1000 only makes 162 hp from factory which by my definition isn't close to 177hp from turbo m1100. Sure it makes more tourque than an 800 but hp numbers are actually in favour of the 800 HO as well by a couple hp
