Pretty lucky you can get in that quick. Most friends don't have a family doctor here in BC, I do but it's a 2 month wait to see him so really what's the point of having one?
Same here, town of 4500 and It takes over a month to get an appointment with my dr.

Unless I need my meds renewed I just go see the on call doctor. Walk in at 8:30 am wait 30 minutes for reception to open. Give them the info and usually see doctor within 20 minutes

I had a good experience the other day. Phoned a walk in clinic and got in the next day with an appointment. It's a walk in clinic that takes appointments. Okotoks. Maybe things are looking up a bit.

That story is pretty sad though. He was young and healthy looking. Weird. Makes me want to sled every day now

I didn't think this was still possible. Around the walk in clinic starts at 8:30, doors open at 8 and if you aren't there by 7:45 there's a good chance you won't be seen. Got there at 7:30am a few weeks ago, waited around and did all the paperwork, got told to come back at 2pm. Did that and by the time we left it was 5pm. All this for some simple antibiotics for a toddler. And in the end the pharmacist disagreed with the doctors prescribed dosage so it was a 3 day back and forth between the 2 of them before we finally got any F'in meds. Healthcare system is a total joke, and its only going to get worse in the future with all the people scared of vaccines allowing old eradicated diseases like measles to make a comeback.

Sorry maybe this belonged in the rant thread

People aren’t scared of vaccines. They’re aware of the science. Which is to make us sick and reliant on meds of all sorts.

You blame this on the unvaxxed? Don't be stupid

I'm sure it has nothing to do with millions of immigrants that are probably not vaxxed. Or the fact your politicians have clearly put there agenda ahead of the well being of their citizens...

Do some reasearch on antibiotics and how fast they'll ruin your gut health, leading to all sorts of other issues.

Better blame it on your neighbor fighting for your freedom.

A person might as well get a gurney with a battery charging pack,,, cooler of food and snacks,,, duffle bag of close and clean bedding so your can remain at emergency since a person will be there for 8 too 24 hours...

Home on wheels with a pee and poo pail...

Get someone too wheel you up too the emergency desk then walk away leaving you there...

Book your self in too see a doctor then turn on your tunes,,, log in to watch lots of YouTube clips,,, you can start on your year end taxes,,, read a few books ,,, writer 3 novels,,, long afternoon nap,,, and do a few exercises and go for a walk around the hospital since your going too be there all day...

Make sure you bring 2 or 3 sets of noise canceling head muffs and dark sun glasses and lots of pillows to relax and sleep comfortably at the waiting room...

A gurney that can sit you up right or lay flat...

If you have too wait at E.R. you might as well wait in comfort...

None of this sitting in a chair bu!! $4!+...

that's what im doing if I have too go back too emergency,,, none of this sitting bull $4!×...

Comfy gurney or i don't go !!!

Tell the front desk gal they will have too come too you in the waiting room because your handy capped while on the rolling gurney...

Tell them you fear walls and set up camp on your rolling gurny in the middle of the show...

They will have too work around you as you wait...

Go in comfort...

S&M emergency rolling gurney of home away from home...

Be prepared too stay for 2 or 3 days...

Its the way it is...

Dont forget too order pizza,,, coffee and drinks for a few of the staff at emergency,,, be kind and enjoy the day (s) waiting like everyone else...

Bang on C(y), The health system we knew of old has been so eradicated by agenda's and overrun by transplants and our own coddling citizens it's doubtful they can "Ever" fix it. Hence why i said if they come up with various private plans like the USA i would opt in according to what i would require. Agenda's/Big Pharma/Petrochemical scripps is how they keep you sick and coming back regularly, along with some naiveness and keeping you dumb down.:(

After the “safe and effective” roll out, to see what it’s doing to people now. I think every stable person should be questioning every vaccine…

I think all scripps and anything they try and put in you nowadays you should look at. I see that metformin chit is linked to kidney failure/alzheimers/and rapid dementia and that chit has been around since 1950 or so, along with regulary perscribed, heavy petrochemical too.

In PG the walk in clinic you start lineup in the cold before 7 am for the doors to open at 8 and 8 they count off the first 50 or so and tell the other 300 to piss off. In the spring that doctor in the clinic is quitting and heading Costa Rica. What advice to give to someone who needs a doctor for a prescription. Jump on the first plane to Mexico.

There are some drugs that people have to take, why those people need a prescription for them is crazy. Insulin and cortisol should be just handed out at the drug store. Death is comes within hours without it.

If you dig even deeper than that, you'll find Polio "virus" has never been isolated and that the disease known as polio is associated with the widespread use DDT at the time and other pesticides/ chemicals. Coincidentally DDT poisoning and so called "polio" cause the same symptoms.

The stat used to be that 50% of our taxes go to healthcare in Canada, its clearly not working (and corrupt). Not sure if that stat is still true but if it is, I'd rather take my taxes back and pay out of pocket for our sickcare system if I ever need it.
