And to answer ur question snopro,,, u bet the ol cat can shred it, do it a couple times a week here in bc, from revy to blue river and everything in between. And i think my sled is actually lighter than the new doo, correct me if im wrong, because u do seem to know absolutely everything wen it comes to sledding, dont forget the weight saving mods ive got wen u do ur calculations.

If you are so thrilled with your Cat why are you trolling so much in a Doo thread? Honestly you haven't provided anything more intelligent than what Joey could possibly post on a good day. Why is everyone not riding a Doo hung up on the weight of a XP? It doesn't add up. Is there something your current ride lacks?

Stick to trolling the Polaris threads and we promise not to miss your wit

They have nothing better to do..

takethebounce, no sense in even acknowledging his presence.. They always say to not even bother with people that have nothing more to lose...

Wow, you should get some head help pal, can u say Obsession. I'll bet you wake up some nights in your groovy little Doo jammies scared the Pro boogie man is coming for you. I'm thinking someone is a closet Poo rider, but hey bud, a really strong and defensive reaction will convince everyone. That and your bumblebee Doo pull-ups. LOL.

You can bet Doo have done there testing against the Pro. Just maybe not against the "flickable" version.

Hey man, I just read the Doo ads and watched the video, Doo God says and writes, the new XM is "FLICKABLE " right there for the world to see. LMAO, they even copied that. Thats funny, dumb as hell, but funny. My new Flickable, Xtra Meat, Teeter totter suspension. LOL. Hope the ne sled works out better than the new marketing slogans.

Think they're gonna add FT to the description, you know for FLOPPY TRACK, LOL, Think there'll be a pill you can give your track to keep the sides stiff if you need to. Gotta be careful not to give your sled the blue pill if you suffer from flaking rings suspect pistons, always consult a Doo doctor before use. LMAO some more.

really? flaking rings? maybe you wanna talk about the Dragon or the 900 RMK.

a buddy of mine rode the XM yesterday and says its a sweet ride. Never really mentioned how "Flickable" it was but he did say it was rediculously easy to put it on its side.

Flickable? Geez, that term was used by reviewers of the liter-bikes when Yamaha figured out that maybe light-weight was the way to go with the original R1. I remember that one from when I worked at Yamaha in '99. If you don't believe me, google "flickable yamaha"

Ironic that Polaris stole a marketing term from the manufacturer that builds the heaviest sleds on the planet...

It seems that Ski-Doo is trying to build a easy-handling sled with gimmikkery and Polaris is trying to build an easy-handling sled the right way. Lightweight is absolutely the way to go. If I was in the market for a new sled, I would actually seriously consider a Polaris, almost...

I agree going lightweight is a good way to go but you can only take so much weight out of the machine before you start sacrificing rigidity. I know the new poos are lighter than the doos but seeing 3 sets of a-arms go down in 1 season on 3 different poos fro minor minor impact or hitting a bump the wrong way makes me really enjoy that extra 20 pounds that the doo weighs! and yes my sled has hit trees it is why the plastic around the headlights and the side panels all have stitches in them.

doo can always lose the weight, there is no patent on weight loss. Poo cant copy the new innovations from doo, it would be way to obvious of patent infringement. Once doo drops 20 to 30 pounds in the next couple years, which im sure is pretty easy if they wanted to... poo will be left so far in the dust it woulnt even be funny.

Poo doesnt have much more weight left to lose, they have gotten rid of almost everything they can. What the big plan now Polaris?

Doo didnt release a 417lbs sled because they didnt have to......

It genius really, release a 465lbs sled that rides like a 417lbs sled without sacrificing anything. Thats innovation!!

Let me rephrase myself... Polaris is using the right METHOD for handling, that is to go lightweight. I have commented in other threads that Polaris is making some poor engineering choices to get to lightweight. One of the reasons you will not find this guy riding a new Polaris. (and I have tested out the 2012 RMK in the hills)

There are things that Doo can do to lightweight that do not involve compromises in durability.

Have yet to see a photo of both sleds ready to ride on a digital scale. 417 lbs is a cool number but let's see it. My estimate for the 163 is maybe 20lbs less than the 163 doo. Weights are like hp numbers. Totally bogus.
