SLP discontinued the pipes for the older 700 triples but Landon at The Sled Parlor found a set for me and just installed them while re-jetting my carbs and hopping up the clutch on my SX Viper. Hoping for some fresh snow today so I can get out and test the sled before heading to Cataract to get some riding in.

Should have no problem lifting the skis now. :)

Yes they do sound good. They get a little thirstier though so don't expect to go as far on a tankful of fuel.

did you get to ride it yet with the pipes?

Haven't had much snow around Okotoks but did get enough for a few rips around the acreage and down a few ditches. Sled runs like a raped ape and sounds just wicked. Was hoping to get out today but will wait for some fresh at Cataract before taking them out. Also rebuilt the top end on the second Viper, but it doesn't touch the blue one. I'll put a video up later today showing how it sounds now.

Got another 6" of snow this week and took the 05 Viper out for a little rip to see how it sounds. Hoping to get it out to the mountains next week.

Here a quick clip of video showing how the SLP "quiet" triples sound on a 700 Viper. Love it.

we used to ride with a guy years ago with the same setup and when he pulled a hill it was the nicest sounding triple out there, not annoying but has a sound that you can ride with all day with. nice setup and looks like it has been well cared for not the fastest on the hill but you will turn heads with that sound
