I just pick my girlfriends 7 month old elkhound puppie off the road dead, I live in a small town where we ride sleds ,atvs everywhere, there is a bad batch of kids that think are little town is a friggen race track,where I found the Jasper there nothing but sled tracks

That totally sucks. Same thing happened here last year...my kids were playing in the back yard with their 4 month old puppy. It ran into the alley just before a 16 year old punk came ripping by at around 80kmh. The dog didn't stand a chance. Both kids watched it happen. Not a great day, so I can sympathize with you.

Sadly as a kid I did some stupid shiz too, no ones pets, but there wasn't a rabbit or cyote that stood a chance........if it was an accident they would have stopped.....my$0.02

If the dog was run down and ran over no excuse he should be charged.

But if the dog got ran over and he didnt want it to happen cant really blame the driver.

I have had more then one animal hit by cars or trucks on my country road and I never blame the driver Roads are for cars yards are for dogs cats gebals whatever you have.
