They are Very lean at 5800-6700RPM and are rich on the top end. (Why do you think they are burning down all the time?) Get a PCV and run the program Dynotechresearch has for it. Without the programs stock it ran 144 HP with the program, richened up on the bottom and leaned out on the top end it was 155HP. Take it for what it is worth. I can copy the dyno runs it you want.
Is this on 2010's or sleds with the update? I know that was true with the old engine setup. Unfortunately I'm not a dynotech subscriber.
I have a '09 Switchback 800 136in with 475 miles. I haven't had any problems with it until the dealer did the updates! I just rode 100 miles yesturday and had to change the plugs 3X!!!
Whats up with all the newer sleds now days ,we pay so much more for all this advanced technoligy and extra hp but it seems the we spend more time repairing these new sleds than riding why can we have the reliability of bthe old sleds with the advanced technoligy for the amount of money we pay for the new sleds
