Hey guys I'm looking for some help.
I just rebuilt my 800 etec. It was very hard to pull over after the rebuild. It kicks back and almost pulls your arms out. I did get it to start a couple times and it ran with a little help from the throttle (Assuming its because extra oil on the internal components like you are supposed to do, or maybe a combination of that and something else is the reason it didn't run by itself) I didn't remove the crankshaft sensor from the base so I'm assuming there is no issue with the sensor position. The engine was easy to turn over before I installed the flywheel and the magnet seems to be very strong but I assume that's normal. Maybe the magnet cracked when I was removing the flywheel?

Any suggestions may be helpful

Thanks in advance

Its funny cause I didn't say the clutch wasn't on, but yes I didn't put it back on yet.
If you are right I will be so thankful, I was about to get started on removing the flywheel.

Yup had my clutch off my 2014 etec doing some maintenance, as I was doing that I thought I would check the km on my sled. Went to pull it over as I always would and couldn’t believe how hard it was! And wouldn’t start.

My 09 ptec I removed the ring gear to lighten the clutch up thinking I would gain some performance. Started it up went to back it out of the garage and reverse wouldn’t work. Put the gear back on and worked every time
