My 509s fog like crazy. I put a fan in my sinisters and it put pressure points in the lens and warped the lens.

I wear dragon dx mx goggles with dual lenses. Never fog. If i get new goggles im getting smiths.

If you want a really good set of goggles and don't mind spending some $ check out the Oakley HDR polarized series. I bought some A frames with this lens I've had them for 4 years I just bought some Air Brakes with this lens last year and absolutely love them. Retail I believe they start at around 200$

Bought a pair of 509 Moto goggles for dirtbiking, and the chrome finish wore off in one season. I NEVER wiped them with anything other than a google cleaning cloth, and only at the end of a ride.
I've been trying different pairs of goggles and lenses for YEARS, and the only brands I'll wear are Oakley's, and Dragon's. You get what you pay for!

People saying that they fog, have to ask you guys a couple questions. Have you ever used an antifog agent to them? and when are they fogging for you, when you have your helmet sitting on your head or do you take the goggles off when they stop, or are they fogging up as you ride? None of my goggles have ever fogged up to a point where I was happy with them...

I *always* wear a NoFog Mask when we go out, I've never had a problem!

I even mean like an anti-fog spray, if you use it right, you won't fog, I used it on my bathroom mirror and a shower would'nt fog at all. A tiny drop of scent free sunlight soap and cleaned out with a dry goggle wipe and it works all year.

IMO fogging is all part of "Breath Management". I love the 509's as they have the easiest "quick change" for lens in the business. I wear the Aviators and pack lens for varying conditions. Can dry and change lens in a few seconds on the hill. Love the Orange for crap days and blue for sunny days. Also love the support 509 gives back to the sled industry. Never see the others give back like 509 does. From prizes for avalanche fundraisers, to Open house events, and food bank drives, they step up when it matters to the community. CheersRS

I think the new Anon goggles are fastest to change now!!go check them out, the lens holds on with magnets.you can pop your lens off with your gloves on with out removing your goggles!!and then pop a new lens back on!!

I Have fogged with 509s, i dont like them very much, look great, fit great but yeah function....

I would recommend Zeal Optics I rode an entire season (2500 km) with one pair last year and I didnt fog once :D

these are the ones i have

and this is the whole line

I would definitely check them out, one of my riding buddies just bought a pair because he witnessed the fact that i never fogged.

Oh and they are polarized and automatically adjust to lighting levels :)

they fog at low sled high track speed in the trees when im dangling and chris burandt seat jumping... Well not really but yah generally i cant wear them if im doing any technical riding, maybe i breath too hard? i sweat too much? All i know is i can keep my dragons on all day and not have to worry about taking them off when i stop or anything. I use this No fog wax i bought at the snowmobile show a couple years ago on all my lenses even the 509s and didnt help. The dragon goggles i have are at least 10 years old.

These dragon dx goggles are so good on a day it rained i would just flip them up under my visor and when stopped and they were fine all day, guys with every kind of goggle we asking me how they wernt fogging, it was super low light and rain/snow so no goggles was horrible for vision and sleet going in your eyes so i was enjoying riding in it.

looks like wps joined forces with dragon and made a special snowmobile goggle out of their goggles. Basically this is what i wear but the face foam isnt larger like these and no nose deflector but the dx xm goggles have a longer strap and double density foam.

Maybe you just ride too hard? You sound pretty extreme

Ha..... Extremely stuck all the time with my iq 700 and sweat like a stuck pig getting it out.

But other than carving around a meadow anytime i try to go through the trees and am moving around the sled my 509s fog, my dragons dont.
