been in a few mudholes and very impressed with tires so far, the KQ being a single usually has no problem going where the twins go, not that impressesd with swamplites, although they look good.

would the regular zillas work good for a 450? also how would a 27" zilla fair on a750 brute force? with a clutch kit?

You guys that are putting 27" tires on 400-450 sized machines have to be dropping some power, they are not geared to run those big tires, no matter how light they may be. I've got a buddy that ran 27" ITP 589's on his Rubicon and it struggled in the mud and his gas mileage was horrendous, he ended up switching to Mudlites.
he who states that going to bigger tires with no power loss is full of shheeet, and has know idea of what he yaks about. bigger tires requires clutch kit or more power period. you cannot physically rotate bigger tires like smaller tires. i call bull ch!t 4by rookie is what his handle says a kid that has no idea period.
Ya gotta make sure your paying attention to the posts. There is a big difference between the mudzillas and Zillas The maxxis Zillas 27x12x14 are 27lbs which is much different from the mudlights also you can get the 27x11x12 which are 23lbs.
If you want a good performing trail tire with some mud and such the Zilla(NOT THE MUDZILLA) is by far the best. If you like playing in the sand and mud as well then the mudbug would be a better choice.
I like doing it all on my quad, I enjoy technical climbs and bashing off of trees, screwing around in the dunes, a bit of mud (but I'm not a full on bogger), plus trails. I'm guessing it's best to order a set of tires online, or will I get a good deal on a set somewhere in Grande Prairie (not likely lol!)
So basically, it's between zillas and mudbugs for me then I guess.

We have no power issues with the Kodiak 450 and it is absolutly stock other than the tires. It will spin the Zillas in anything that it could spin the stock tires in. Also you have to remember that the ITP 589's are WAAAAAAY heavier than Zilla's. Don't know about gas milage though as I don't really care about fuel milage on a quad, I just go till it's empty and always have extra just in case. We have had trips where my Brute is empty with 50km on it and also some where I can go almost 100km before empty.
you can't be serious? you telling us that turning 27 tires are as easy as turning 25 inch tires. are you serious. you won't lose power in tire rotation. you are the man with the ultimate knowledge and experience. i need a pound of whatever your smokin. you are full of shheeet dude.
