its not worth it you will slow your track speed down and you will not climb as high if you had a 300hp sled then go for it good track speed is what you want in hill climbing
I am running one on my 09 m1000.Cut it down to 15 1/2" .I have 3/16" room up front by cooler.oh its also a 174".It is working very well.If you dont have one now your SOL camoplast quit making them for now.
Need big Ponys to turn it. On a stock M8, a Camo 2.5 works great. I have heard of some problems of lugs being torn off the 3" because of length, but I imagine it was just riding it in low snow conditions
will look at the 2.5, the 3" realy digs on the doos thought it mite be possible for the cat but the 2.5 is probly more practical spring ridding would be hard on the 3" im thinkin...

they dont make smaller drivers for m series. The track will hit the diamond drive with smaller drivers.3/16 is lots of room.I think camoplast really missed the boat not making a 15 wide for the m series. It costs doo riders thousands for a new chaincase ,yamahas are alot of work also to make it fit.m series fits like a glove after you cut them down.these 3"tracks are unbeleivable. If you can find a 3'' put it in .Only thing is if your speed demon on the trails dont get it,I'll sacrifice not being the first one down for making high marks all day.
