Id like to see them Doos get rid of the plastic trim around the gas cap like the Lynx and narrow it up a bit

we are at the limit of pump fuel i don't think there is a safe 10hp available for that sled that would work at low elevation keeping in mind that they have some safety factor in there as not everyone is getting true 91 premium at the pumps
don't the flat land sleds have meth injection? put it on the big hill sled also.

Doo has been playing with a 850 cc, but the biggest fattest single pipe ever and some timing /compression. Makes some power . Whether it makes emissions or the assembly line ?
I think the 850R idea would have a market. The 9R showed guys the weight of the turbo vs what you can do with a few extra HP NA

I hope we get more powerful engines with less reliability. That’s why I bought the 9R….

how much power is it though? i dare you to run through the last 20 years of Polaris propaganda to figure it out....

most polaris guys say its the same power on the top as the 850 but has better response.....that's it......6k please

Kinda don't think any more HP would be necessary from doo/poo just yet. Booth sleds rip, and are seeming to hold together fairly well. 90% of the people riding them including my self cant ride these to their potential. Doo needs some rear skid improvements and diet, without compromising strength as hold up pretty decent with aftermarket front and rear bumper. JMO
Agree. The power is fine where it's at.. buy a tune if you need a bit more. I don't think we're going to see any significant improvements to performance.. the area owners need to see improvement in order to justify an upgrade is resale value. Where are we at at this point? Upgrade 3 years and 2000kms for $10000? $27000 out the door for new.. $17000 for the used? What are high mileage guys paying for a switch?

Similar to the 340 I had as a kid. That’s why I bought it for my son to learn to ride. Perfect beginners sled…

That’s great you start them on a smaller sled, I’ve seen so many first time mountain riders kids&adults on sleds way beyond there abilities.Everyone laughs when I mention when you can turn your sled inside-out ringing it’s neck is when you should be upgrading.

did anyone think those gigantic drivers they put in the 2025 models was really just because the old ones were slipping for some people.......they seem really overkill....
Are you talking about the new doo drivers? They made a significant difference on how smooth my sled is. I also noticed lower vibration in my boards as well, but I have the single piece driveshaft.

What is made in Mexico? Ski-doo is entirely in Quebec and Polaris is Wisconsin and Minnesota.
I think the quads and SXS are made in mexico, I don’t know where the watercraft is manufactured.
I thought about this, but if we're still playing that game come next October, sled sales/prices might be the least of our worries.
I'm not sure how or even if it would change anything. No doubt, I'm sure it's got them sweating, but what could they do?
Drop prices in an attempt to be competitive? Too risky. Tariffs come off a month later and they are stuck honouring all these cheap snow checks.
Big release as an incentive? Probably too late for that.
I totally agree, I am not sure what that would look like if the Tariffs are implemented, pass the cost to the US consumer? I dunno if doo has the balls to attempt that.
I see alot of yellow and red crates at doo dealers when there normally isn’t any, regardless of what’s in them, it’s inventory.
If the Tariffs are implemented I highly doubt doo would release a new Chassis and retool, but Guaranteed there is a new chassis and engine ready to be released, when is the question.
I do feel Alberta will weather the tariffs better than any other province.

Had a good chat with one of the BRP reps at the sled show in 2023. It was at another booth while he was roaming the show. He was a young guy that was in the marketing team for Can-am.
He thought BRP was great to work for, but he was critical about some of the things they did, and cited that all Can-am and Seadoo products were 100% manufactured in Mexico. Most of Skidoo products were made either there or offshore, but simply “assembled” in Quebec. He was quite vocal about not agreeing with where the product came from, but noted that BRP was aggressively profit driven.
