My guess for Doo;
BNG's for the mountain segment. Maybe some sort of new tech, but the main chassis and engine remain unchanged. Usual refinements and perhaps a tiny bump in hp. I think pricing increase will minimal.
A publicly available electric sled for the trail or perhaps kids segment will be the main event.

Poo;
A chassis update is due soon, but I don't necessarily see that happening between the slow market and positive feedback. Boost could switch to the 9R engine, but I'm not sure that makes sense. Possibly elimination of the n/a 850 in the mtn segment.

Cat is total crap shoot until some sort of announcement is made.

If doo or poo release some sort of major update or new engine/platform it will be a huge blow to dealers with stock and the used market.

Burandt has been doing the boosted 9r for a couple seasons now. Should be about time for Polaris to put it out this year and take back the lead in the hp race.
Can't convince me big tech isn't spying on us.

Feb 1 will tell the tale what doo does. I would be surprised if they release anything new but refinements this year. I am still waiting for the bigger HP turbo to be released, not sure what that will look like CC wise.

Polaris, probably a 9r booster and more recalls.

I think you're going to see OEM's reel in options, I can't see Polaris continuing forever with 6 different engine options across the snow lineup. Skidoo will probably do the same. Track, shock, gauge and color options may become more limited again.

They're going to have to cut costs, and I think that's how they'll do it.

Local dealer went from 110+ snochecks to 30 from 24 to 25 season so i think tbe crazy price tags on these things is def slowing things down

Here's my take:
How much can the 9R really cost above a 850 to produce? Like $100? I think they should stop making the 850 and put 9R instead, and sell at 850 prices.

yea they are really taking you to the cleaners on those 9R. like you said, in mass numbers its probably 100$ difference motor to motor.

Hard to argue that polaris does not have the best marketing and pro riders on board those 9r premiums are one of the most pushed items by polaris prob byfar there best financial return on a sled as guys are paying for 50cc and a 100 dollar dif of the 850s vs a turbo which prob cost polaris much more

I thought about this, but if we're still playing that game come next October, sled sales/prices might be the least of our worries.
I'm not sure how or even if it would change anything. No doubt, I'm sure it's got them sweating, but what could they do?
Drop prices in an attempt to be competitive? Too risky. Tariffs come off a month later and they are stuck honouring all these cheap snow checks.
Big release as an incentive? Probably too late for that.
