Cats up for sale, polaris is down 45% this year, BRP down 20% Tariffs,, trump,, carneys. Just be happy if someone is making sleds next year.

Anyways I hoping they bring back the greasy triple in a mountain sled. Triple pipe. Maybe a turbo on there too.

I feel our current offerings exceed the riding capabilities of but a few. It would be wise for the manufactures to limit big changes, refine existing platforms & improve durability, Maybe bring back the 4 year engine coverage & show the consumer, they the manufacturer, believe in the product. BRP could drop the "850" reference on the turbos, and just call it a Turbo RR with another 10hp map tweak, cheap & easy. Like was said earlier, if Polaris makes the 9R more "mainstream", pricing may come down. Once again, concentrating on reliability & increased warranty coverage. Cat, to be determined...

good points.
us consumers drive the constant upgrade mentality and a given company has to comply because the competition will. price goes up accordingly. i'd like to see significant, noticeable weight reduction but i don't believe that's feasible with current materials or it would have already happened. also a focus on reliability.

Maybe they should go back to 100hp just because guys suck.

Speed limit is 100km/h but 1000hp is still funner then a kia.

I'd love to see more basic stripped back versions for cheaper. Like doo used to do with the XP for under 10k when the xms were out

I hear this a lot, but I don’t think it reflects people’s actual purchasing habits. If those models sold, they wouldn’t have dropped them. What people really want is the fancy models to be cheaper.
I remember the summit sport that you are referring to. It was around $8500 when the xm was $15k. Don’t think I ever saw a single one on the snow.

Kinda don't think any more HP would be necessary from doo/poo just yet. Booth sleds rip, and are seeming to hold together fairly well. 90% of the people riding them including my self cant ride these to their potential. Doo needs some rear skid improvements and diet, without compromising strength as hold up pretty decent with aftermarket front and rear bumper. JMO

we are at the limit of pump fuel i don't think there is a safe 10hp available for that sled that would work at low elevation keeping in mind that they have some safety factor in there as not everyone is getting true 91 premium at the pumps

the polaris is still behind on the HP game right now but their boost model with the new 325 is working well. If they turbo the 9R that would put them in the same raw power ballpark as the turboR

Doo also needs to get on the buddy tracking train. Honestly i don't even care if it picks up Polaris at this point, if it picks up just skidoos that increases our safety factor by at least 50-60%
I'd take an accessory at this point thats plug & play and works on all gen5 +.

Riding with the trailtech is a real game changer

i think they will add a drag race launch mode on the screen for guys that like to drag race mountain sleds on lakes
Yep build heat in the pipe before you climb that hill. Daryl Baker from Racers Edge used to do that when he was climbing against someone. We all wondered why he would make laps at the bottom then take his run at the hill. He knew why.

the trail sleds have launch mode, I've said it before i hope to see it in the summits one day. Would really help to get out of those sticky situations you shouldn't be in

did anyone think those gigantic drivers they put in the 2025 models was really just because the old ones were slipping for some people.......they seem really overkill....
