Im thinking the new Freeride might be better in that respect. Stiffer shocks, wider stance, not sure about the "rack steering" or what that looks like. But probably is better.

Haven't tried it, but it looks cool.

The feedback in the bars when sidehilling slow is a common complaint, its something I do not like about my G5. Will the new ski design help with that? I was hoping to see a new spindle design released.

I can’t say I noticed it on the gen 4s
I’m running a modded up t3 165” so it makes sense I felt at home on the 174”
I also haven’t been on a trip with such bad snow for about 15 years either. It was booked and more about hanging with family then about snow conditions.
Was also excited to throw a leg over the gen 5 aswell that weekend.
Didn’t make me want to throw another 27 grand out after riding them though.

I was thinking enzo or get mb suspension to do shocks and Mohawk skis or grippers for my 23 expert. I do not like the feedback and diving feel in choppy stuff. Deep snow it is a great sled but everything else I’m not a fan

This I was actually wondering about this. The 34” front end will not work on the freeride so what’s different on the expert.

I am running Enzo pro 40s with a 34'' front end. I'm not sure how the 36mm freeride shocks would hit the control arms, as the 40s are bigger.

Enzo’s 40’s are different than the 40’s on a freeride.

What’s the difference besides the rod rebound? The body looks identical.

I actually have pics of the difference somewhere. The tube or arm that attaches to the reservoir is shorter and is closer to the main shock body on the racing pro 40’s.
