We need it to freeze to valley bottom soon. Preserve the little snow we have low down.

need the money to outfit groomers with optional floats. Why is it with hundreds of riders per day and the associated revenue, they cannot seem to have a functional webcam????????
Solar powered and there's been two sunny days in the last two months. Why is it with hundreds of riders per day and the associated revenue, they cannot seem to have a functional webcam????????

True, but there are lots of others solar powered cams in the area that manage to reliably function. You would think that such a large operation would be more organized. I recall a member here in the biz saying he offered to help and they turned him down. Whatever, It's not that important, I only ride boulder a couple days a season anyway and RMR has several to look at. Just felt like bitching about something. lolSolar powered and there's been two sunny days in the last two months.
I'm mainly interested in the weather/visibility. I live 1.5 hours southwest and use the cams to help determine if it's worthwhile to drive to our good weather only spots. Not much to look at, at the cabin.

Sometimes it's just entertaining to see the zoo too. That reminds me, what happened to that Sasquatch snow gauge they had made last spring? I thought they were going to put it in front of a cam.
Rmr is my go to cam for revy. Works every day. Highway cam #2
Yamacam, i never bother...
The railway cam on YouTube is a good live hd feed for in town. It used to point directly at boulder. They just recently changed it to pan back and forth though.
They added wifi at the cabin this year which will take a further toll on the battery bank. They could likely use another 1000-1500w of solar input to get the reliability factor improved. We are talking <$2k worth of panels and wiring to make that happen. Maybe a touch more depending on what they have in place for a solar charge controller.True, but there are lots of others solar powered cams in the area that manage to reliably function.
