Thats the craps,,, i thought they got it out,,, maybe theys have too snag it in the spring...

Its pretty much scrap metal and plastic now...

There are 7 snow-cats sitting in Calgary ready too go,,, 2 of them have wrecking bars mounted on the back for lifting...

A person should of seen the gong-show at Mustang a few years back when their cat slidd off the trail...

She was a long day and night getting that beast on the track...

Of course it blew off the trail on the steepest spot hanging off the cliffs edge...

They aint bringing in a friggen sky crane. Lol Homer will tow it out with the junk they have im sure.

100%. Never underestimate farmer ingenuity. Use what you got Plus he’s a hillbilly from the biggar hills
Some rigging is all you need with the snow cats they have. Long cable some clamps and a snatch block or 2. Get it over the hills with leverage then your home free downhill

Would be absolute last resort to bring a real cat in imho but I tend to use common sense and think things threw. As my budget isn’t unlimited

There aren't any S-64's in W Canada anymore either. They were sold last year.
I don't think any were ever registered in Canada. I was told by someone in the biz that Erickson sold off their entire fleet last year. Still on their website so who knows.

Rode Joss yesterday. Pretty sure first time before new years for me. The fist big climb in was a rutted, treed mess. Group ahead of us broke a wrist and threw in the towel. We spent some time shovelling in the sidehill by the gas drop. We had great weather and pretty good snow, mainly due to lack of traffic. Still lots of rocks and open creeks. The lakes are slushy.

That climb in is real skinny. Good work on getting in there.

I’ve probably ridden 50ish days up there and it was the worst I’ve seen it.
Chatting with the group of kids at the bottom to find out how bad it really was, they said “if you can dangle!”
Kinda funny when the group of 40 somethings make it on the first go. 😂

At your age, no doubt, you have learned how to dangle......(y)

Brutal visibility conditions on Boulder today. Maybe my memory is poor, but I can't remember riding in worse.

A person use to come on here to see pics of the conditions. Maybe a video. And actual riding conditions and what the newbies are doing or what the conditions are like in the hidden secret stash’s are like when boulder is like pavement. Oh the good old days

Drove Calgary to Revy today

Ton of trucks heading east in the morning
Did everyone ditch riding Sunday?

Probably the green plated ones. Full days drive to enjoy the Revy goods
