Was the kootney river in canal flats. She’d be a no go for props. But the actual Columbia down around Trail and Castlegar is good for prop boats. Pretty much all boats are props in there and has really nice launches. And walleye fishing is good. No limit on them if I remember tight as they’re an evasive species

Drag the kids around the lakes. Figured Columbia lake just north of canal flats might be closer and quieter than lake Windermere if we can get a boat in there?

I seen it in his shop. The difference of where she polished and didn’t was night and day. Looks good!

Go right into Canal flats till you hit the T intersection and then left follow the signs to the boat launch !!!!!

What’s Columbia lake like? Inter web says primitive launch in canal flats. Any fibreglass prop boats out there? We are headed to fairmont any the end of the month and I’m thinking of dragging the boat down. I haven’t spent much time there in the summer. Mainly spring ski/golf season.

Columbia lake is quieter than Windermere, it's very nice.
