Where along the NSR? I’ve always heard between Edmonton and Ft Sask has some sturgeon holes

Late in the year you’ll catch them right up to Drayton. But the winter east of the city. Around genesse there about 7 sturgeon per km of river. East of the city there’s about 40 per km of river. Find any slow moving water with muddy bottom you’ll find them. Just use proper gear. Don’t use a pickerel rig. They’re junk and don’t work good a break off easy. Then they stick to the bottom of the river with a weight attached and if a fish grabs them they hold the fish there till they die.

These were right by Scotford, I've had the best luck east of Edmonton.

Not sure, i have not followed pricing did a little shopping around and they are all pretty close, bought at Riverside Marine and think they treated me fair. Don’t think as crazy as jets though

That, right there, is my DREAM boat! Big enough to still pull the kids around on the tubes, lots of room for family and friends to just cruise the lake...... Nice boat Shrek!

Spend a lot of time at that lake, we'll sheltered in valley and lots of winter trails also.
Great hunting to the north, but terrain will work you over.
