Cleaning the clutches and the belt on a brand new doo is a absolute must!!!

To be fair I have 2 friends with skidoo turbos and one has 800-900km on the original belt. My belt only lasted 440km.

Has only done a Grip and Rip Alignment and Poly torque stop on the their new turbo?

I have the poly stop but have not seen the need to put it in, the specs on that torque stop will allow less movement over the stock one tho.
My clutch faces are pretty clean, and clutch temps are really good.

Ive aligned thousands of pieces of equipment in my career.
I cannot get on board with the grip and rip alignment, maybe some sleds need it more than others, possibly yes, but your misaligned for the majority of the shift and aligned at full load, not knowing what the thermal growth of the parts are?

yep, a clutch kit and gearing down=best two mods and they're cheap to do as well.

Just towed out a XM with the 175 turbski, after my clutch changes, temps never rose over 45c. Was moving along between 40-60km. Pretty dam good I say.

Also not getting belt life. Last one went 943km and the top blew off. Thursday the sled pulled good. Friday it seemed to have less power. I thought maybe the heavy snow caused the feeling. . Then Saturday boom.

Added more weight to mine got RPM down and speed up. Ran 4 bars .Well todayI hate that temp gauge. Got to watch it all the time. Never mind the clutch kits I need extra cooling kit. 80 miles today. Was great.

Keep in mind guys belt lift is like telling the guys how much you can drink at the bar..

If your in over hood snow and pined most of the day, and not letting belt and clutching cool down periodically you will have less belt life then others driving in six inches and boon docking

That said( knock on wood) the belt life on my redline 850t is pretty good so far since I have not replaced yet and probably 20plus days on it, and most has been at 7-8lbs with over the hood snow pretty common this year ..

Maybe there is something to be said then to the new pdrive .. or the 721 belt..

Doo is getting there Shlt together once.. now look at the driver resistance fiasco DOo.. and maybe a belt drive
