HMM... BRP uses Rotax motors, KTM uses Rotax motors, KTM has electric dirt bikes....

Ktm has not used rotex engines for some time. Rotex used to build ktm 2 strokes in 70’s and 80’s and had something in on the first 4 stokes. Ktm has since bought hasaberg and husky and engines are ktm build with some high end parts outsourced to companies like del west

A guy I ride with has the white (17/18 not sure which year) 850 freeride and I will tell you it looks like chit. The white plastic is a nightmare to keep clean. The sled looks 10yrs old and like it has never been cleaned.

Couldnt agree more the white plastics suck a**. Terrible to keep clean, any scratches stick out like a sore thumb and no matter how much you clean them they always look dirty, scratched , etc. Never again will I buy a white sled, Lesson learned.

Yup I had a white/red snowcheck XM in 2014 and the red/white expert was like a bad flashback. Never will I have another white sled.

I just ordered an expert non turbo. I believe the 800.00 is well worth it. even resale will be better. the shocks alone are worth that money. Not a huge fan of the lightweight hood but with the windshield add on it looks much better. The limiter strap adjuster is flat out awesome. if you haven't ridden with one you need to. as per usual just my .02.
