I could possibly see an E sled for the trails but mountain riding, I just don't see an E sled generating enough power for climbing steep slopes, sidehilling through trees, jumping and all the other insane stuff we do on these mountain sleds.

imo they could generate enough power, range would be the issue.

Exactly. A lot of auto reviewers have done testings on the tesla suv towing a trailer on mountain roads and range is cut down significantly to a point where they could not make it to the next charging station. We all know the e-tec sips gas for trail riding for on those deep days.......you're lucky to get 60km on a tank.

From what Im seeing the expert is a better value.
For a person who has a set of shocks already the x is a excellent value.
It look like the difference between the two is the adjustable limiter and the shocks??

In them hills.
So after going through the build process sever times I am seeing that apples to apples, 165 3", both with shot, the expert is $800 more than an X. Now for that extra $800 all I'm seeing is the extra low riser for all you under 6' fellas, fancy kashima coated shocks, adjustable limiter strap and hand guards. Am I missing something? Seems that they narrowed the gap significantly between X and Expert and I'm not sure it's worth the extra coin. I'd be tempted by a Freeride if it wasn't such a light colour, side panels will be black with exhaust and belt dust after 500km.
I am thinking freeride.
But no one will want that light color used.
So maybe x and then pump the $2k difference in a real suspension.

Put a scs side panel kit on the freeride. I think that color will be fine, but I understand what your concern is.

Ya, brp screwed us here

Made us have to drive at least a hour, to a crappy dealer

Hence why I'm going to switch brands, for dealer service that good and close

You can all ways buy from a dealer outside the that dealers sales area. Nothing brp can do about it. It's a free country for now. There is one that delivers here.

Oh I know

But it's a pain in the butt, if you break down and need it in a few days
