The orange/Black Alpha is pretty sexy. Be even better with a supercharger

Anybody know what the Hardcore Alpha is? Maybe shocks and the new engine?

The hardcore Alpha looks good. The primer grey for the regular Alpha is not my favourite. Hardcore is just a 800 with better shocks and I think some reinforced boards.

Well that was anticlimactic.......

Really hoped to see something huge from Cat rather than BNG’s and more Alpha models.

I was just at T&T talking to them about the new release. Didn't sound like anything else is coming. Looks like the mountain 600s and 4 strokes are gone. Not overly impressed with the colour choices, but that red hardcore might do. See what the spring order deals are gonna be. No information on that yet either.

Sounds like the 8000 ctec got a bunch of updates found this dootalk:

The first two quotes are from AmSnow and the last two are from Snow Goer:

“ All three M 8000 models get their mojo from a new, Next-Gen C-TEC2 8000-Series engine delivering a new level of clean Arctic Cat 2-stroke engine performance and technology. The 794cc C-TEC2 twin features new cylinders, pistons, combustion chamber, flywheel and fuel rail, plus a new fuel calibration strategy that delivers a cleaner and more responsive performance, with improved fuel economy and power in the 165 HP class of engines. “

“ Now this is just a little peek into the 2020 lineup for Arctic Cat. Stay tuned as we will be releasing more information as we receive it. “

“Another purchasing mind shift for consumers will be the buying cycle, Kennedy wrote. Arctic Cat will only offer our 2020s as Spring Guarantee models. To state it simply, if consumers don’t put their money down before April 30, they won’t be able to purchase a 2020 Arctic Cat in season.”

“ Kennedy also promised a new pricing strategy that will be unveiled on March 5. “

we need a Dave Norona to bring out the little, sometimes significant changes.....so far I don't see a whole lot of changes to make me want to order a 2020 over a 19...or even an 18 (I am not in the Alpha demographic)

I agree... As much as I like Kincaid and McClure, they aren't great sales guys. They don't sell the product like Dave does for team yellow.

Spring order only for 2020... trying to blow some existing stock off the floors?

Riot x would be nice for my sask riding... not liking the blue tho.

All that means is every dealer will order X amount of sleds for John Smith who will "bail" on their snow checks, how do you think Doo dealers have summit X and free rides on the showroom floor an Polaris dealers had 850 's in the showroom this year.

Kinda sounds like they got rid of the twin rail sleds. And according to snow west it's spring check only next year.

I like the new colours, I’m intrigued by the motor upgrades. But for me, this may be the most disappointing early release. Does the R&D team not realize they are ****ting the bed. Since I bought my 2016, Ive been able to install the yearly upgrades for cheaper than losing my ass on a trade in??? Yes, I may not have a Ctec800, but I could. I haven’t installed new plastics and belly pan, but I have them in cardboard boxes waiting for my s**t to be destroyed before I do. Bars, boo-hoo, who cares. Clutch-yup done. Drop and Roll with 8 tooth, yup done. Alpha skid and track, another damn I could change if I wanted, but I don’t.
Glad I dropped cash on the Redline turbo and installed the Iceage Elevate kit. My 4 year old sled is sadly, still current. Way to go Cat.
