Out of the box the 850t doo is pretty decent. As I mentioned in another thread the doo should have a decent HP advantage over the NA sled. It definitely feels different just riding it around.
That engine needs load for it to shine tho, my grin got way bigger when I started to work it, and use it as a MTN sled.
The 850T is very exciting sled to ride when its used as intended.

Even with the HP advantage the doo had, the NA sleds held their own. I suspect if the snow was deeper that day on that lake, the gap would be much farther apart, and the NA sled would be playing catchup.
Cant wait to see the gap spread apart even farther from the NA sleds when someone gets to tear into the drive system of that doo.


Niners sled works very well, that alphalaris just plain works, its fast! wondering now what the weight difference is.
Get some power adders under the hood of that poo and Im very curious as to where the sleds would be than.

How much fuel was in the big boy jerry can on the back of the turbo sled? That could be as much as 30lbs right there.

I ment the weight difference of a stock axys to the alphalaris. I dunno if that mod added weight or reduced it. Hopefully someone from the altitude crew can chime in.

The Alpha skid is 6.5lbs lighter than the polaris skid. But the 165 track is 4 lbs heavier that the 155 2.6. So its only a 2.5 lb savings. I do have a trail can on, which saved 8 lbs.

We I raced the Doo turbo is was dead even. The race that Sean and I did was also up a hill. Was really hoping to get to allen creek and find some better snow. As the snow gets deeper and with higher elevation, that Doo with be way ahead of a N/A sled. The conditions were ideal for the N/A sleds.

Is this Bosch sensor AFR or pressure?

Hmm why do they monitor pressure on the exhaust side?
Fully expect one of those sensors on the air box side....but exhaust?

exhaust backpressure is a major component of a turbo system. some people strive for a 1:1 ratio backpressure to boost and others want 2:1. Backpressure is what drives the turbo but can also cause lag. As rpm goes up and you pass peak torque you generally want to reduce backpressure from a 2:1 to 1:1.

many people don't know it but your 5psi system probably has +7psi backpressure.
