Re: 2020 Boating Pics & Vids

I took a week off to enjoy a little piece of heaven we have in the peace country. My brother and I spent a few days cleaning and clearing around our cabin. Then Friday, we had an overnighter with family and friends! boat access only!

I lucked out on my timing buying the new Spark Trixx. Got it cheap , just as they were starting the COVID buying spree. Very hard to find them for sale at any price this summer. Almost like sledding . Not fast, but loves jumping.

What size motor on the 16' boat? We have a 16' Delta Craft with a 90 horse and its most everyone's favorite ski boat. With the 15 pitch it pulls most 200 pound men out of the water without a lot of problem and tops out at 32 mph with a strong heavy skier.

1982 18' Super Sidewinder w/ 200 HP Etec (2015). Bought it in 1983 . Pulls 5 slalom skiers at a time or my parasail in the old days. 235 Evinrude originally-(as it is rated for). Still troll Wabamun fishing at 2mph with it every weekend and cruise at 60 mph. Handles much better than the 16' sidewinder version - loves the rough water with 6' waves.

Great pics Chrisco. How many days were you out? Did you have to pack some extra fuel with you?
Was out for 3 days on the lake Randy, I put on 150 miles checking things out. Went up to mica dam and did most of the arms came back a little toward Vale and made camp there.... Len was already at that camp spot, and a perfect spot it was. I had an extra 100 liters on the swim deck but came back to the launch with a 100 liters in the tanks. It was nice, knowone around for miles and miles.
