Have been fingered and yelled at on the lower red more than once before even being courteous, with it super low right now would be tricky dodging the floaters.

I’ve been told to slow down lots. But that’s idiots not realizing how waves and boats work.

It's a courtesy thing, atv's, sleds, vehicles it doesn't matter, if someone is in your path you slow down and move over.

Standard procedure for most people is to move over and keep your boat going just fast enough to stay on plane.

If the boats wake is of concern move over into shallow water, my boats wake doesn't propagate when the water is shallower than 8".

Another thing to note is powered craft must always give-way to non-powered craft in Canada. So floaters, canoeists, kayakers etc always have the right of way to jet boats.

Agreed, but nowhere does it say that we should go flying by tubers 40ft from them at 60mph.

I guess if a guy is running a sportjet then do whatever, no one can tell the difference in speed from just on plane to WOT anyway. :smiliestirthepot:

Yah I wish I could past them at 60mph lol.

Sure was... I wanted to get out one last time also but changing out my deep well pump suddenly became priority number one. That and finishing my Trolley Jib boom on the side of my seacan. Im still going to try to get to Kinbasket one more time.

Re: 2020 Boating Pics & Vids

Well that’s it for this season. Put the boat away today. Was hoping to get another couple weeks on the river but it’s just too low for my 12 degree. All in all it was a great year. Ended up with 127 hours. Some of that was kicker time. Boat is heading in for some bottom work. Nothing major, just lots of scraping the last few weeks. Sure hope things get back to normal. Some poker rally’s, and boat races were missed this year. Fished from here right to the coast. Got a lot done to the boat and the family had a blast this year. Hopefully next year is just as good or better.

Cheers
Chadd
