The snowflakes at the city of Edmonton know its better to get passed on step.It's a courtesy thing, atv's, sleds, vehicles it doesn't matter, if someone is in your path you slow down and move over.
Standard procedure for most people is to move over and keep your boat going just fast enough to stay on plane.
If the boats wake is of concern move over into shallow water, my boats wake doesn't propagate when the water is shallower than 8".
Another thing to note is powered craft must always give-way to non-powered craft in Canada. So floaters, canoeists, kayakers etc always have the right of way to jet boats.

Agreed, but nowhere does it say that we should go flying by tubers 40ft from them at 60mph.
I guess if a guy is running a sportjet then do whatever, no one can tell the difference in speed from just on plane to WOT anyway.
Guessing the lake nice and quiet now that the summer crowd gone.
