Mine never bogged once, and the top ones where plugged right off

When buddy tired mine out, I could see the ones behind the bumper were clean, that I installed like Brandon was saying to do

Top ones still pull from under the hood, should get plenty of supply from the shock tower vents.
Removing the Goggle bag and put in the plastic insert with frog skinz helps. And like what Brandon is doing too. All helps.

That's the one.

I have also seen guys put frog skinz in the shock towers and into the air box.

I found that if the intake get burried and it bogs it means your intake nose seal is leaking under suction. Vasoline the **** outta that seal.
I added some foam weather strip in the concave side of the joint and grease it with dielectric grease. Seems to be sealing well. Also have a protect-air on the shelf.

My Alpha will bog if the hood is piled high. I don't like it but it's predictable. I need to look into some of these auxiliary vents. In 19 they improved the fit of these pieces intake pieces.

Season two, with over 3000km on, l started getting a random bog when getting into the throttle. This one was not powder related. I checked the exhaust valve cable adjustment. It was out a little, correcting didn't cure the bog. I looked at them again and this time tried pulling them individually by hand. One was really hard to pull and barely returned. I thought gummy valve but it wasn't that. The cable wears through the guide sheath. I replaced both cables and all was good.

Some more work on the air box sealing last night and tonight. Took a flashlight and shined it in the air box to every corner and joint. Siliconed each joint the had light showing through, definitely snow access points. Bought a one piece frog skin to put on both sides of the air box. Should be money now
