Lol, if the track was so bad every arctic cat team rider would swap it out, but last i checked all of them are using it and guaranteed they all ride way more powder days than mr ktm

I suspect this dude ^^^^ride's European snow, that's why LOL

Rode revelstoke all week where they have the most snow to date this year and 4 plus feel of dry fresh snow and the cats running the PC were stuck long before my t3 even pouching a track they didnt make it as far .....this is the first ive ever heard of people liking the pc alot of people hate it and change it .....ive changed them.for people and they could say enough good about the track upgrade when we took the pc off had used ones we couldnt get ride of 2 years ago we wete selling them for like 200 and 250 dollars a track cuz its all we could get out of them.

Bring out your T3 anytime and my 3" powerclaw will beat it every time in every situation...you must be confusing the 2.25" powerclaw track with the tracks you were selling for $200 big difference between that track and the new 3" completely different track the new 3" powerclaw is a great track!

Lots of catnip getting snorted in the kittie camp here , powerclaw in my experience is far less superior in %90 of snow conditions.

ill give ya that. I tried the 2.6 on my m1000 after a 2.5 camo, I had to change the skid setup cause it did trench like a bastard, but after changing things up I loved it. However, the 3" is a beast, and I've had a couple days of bottomless dry powder now and it hasn't trenched out on me once.

Id like to get back to the OP reason for the thread, hear more about the expectations of the new kitty coming our way

Stock xm track, 850 track, polaris Axys track and both the camoplast tracks are way better if you ride deep snow if your not riding deep dry pow the pc is ok

Can you settle the debate of the depth of snow and the continent on which that snow is on that you ride please?

I agree we all want more power it must be as reliable as the current 800, but what does it take for you to buy one?

For me I am happy with what I have 16 ltd. I wont but a new sled for just the eng especially first year. Now if the sled is even close to what Allseasons posted earlier, 40 lbs lighter and a new eng, that one I may buy. A/C needs to step up a bit in the mountain section more with weight than anything, yes the 800 has been around for a bit and some fresh power would be nice. In the past few years they have improved the Proclimb a lot each year and have dedicated people in the mountain section. I do like the direction they are going I just wish it would happen a little quicker.

My understanding and i do believe this to be true, i got this from Valley Motor sports in Kelowna. The current 800 is more then capable of handling more power. In fact A/C with some dealer will not void your warranty with their approved BB set up. It has to be installed by their dealers to qualify. This is how confident they are with the current 800. I believe the BB is an 860 and dyno tests show 170+hp out puts. A/C has a very good base line to work with but the big issue is EPA standards. It was also indicated to me that it will come turbo ready.

One thing i don't want to see from Cat is another cheapo fall apart sled like Poo and Doo. Yes they are a little heavier and little is the key word, at least they are durable and will take the punishment. Improved geometry is a better way to hide unwanted weight imo.

Cant agree more, we don't need broken bulkheads and bent tunnels, the geometry did change for the MC in 17 and I have been told that is the future chassis. I have not rode one but reports have been positive. I do plan on test riding one if they have the spring tour or if a dealer has one available.
