Ive heard the new panel style like on the sidewinder, thundercat or king cat as well on the 18's, much nicer system for panels, way easier to open and close

I don't know how that would be 20hp jump. I believe the 800 has been in the 160+ range since 2010 ho was introduced.

So has anyone fully figured out what's the deal with the black cats?

I see the ctech2 sticker on the side....
I assume this is the new engine in here?

Is the black cat gonna be a factory sled next year?

I can dream.

I think black cats are the factory riding group.

I agree with that, but there must be something more to the sleds they are running.

Why would cat publicly promote superchargering their sleds?

Same as Yamaha used to do with their superchargers or turbo

The ctec 2 sticker is just repping Arctic Cats new oil they brought out for the ctec 600, that replaced apv oil, that is all, kincaid and mcclure have had ctec 2 decals on their sleds since 14

Ive run a speedwerx pro charger on my cat before they work good but a turbo is much more reliable and more likely from factory then a super charger

People calim 160 + on the cat engine but any accurate dyno they usually come in low 150's on the terra alps dyno ted said dyno the Axys was 140, cat was 150 and the 850 was 165.....bikeman puts the cat at 156 stock but thats corrected numbers and they use number to sell so probably slightly high

Not that easy to transport a dyno to 8500 feet plus need power to run it ect ......if all 3 are dynoed on the same dyno same DA hp numbers shoukd be a close representation all NA engines will loose hp as you go up lits of riding below 8500 feet in Revy and sicamoose were allways under that.......numbers ive been told from to indempendent sources that make products for all 3 and have no real reason to boost numbers are the Axys 140, suzuki cat 152-154, 800 etec 155,850 165 area .....the 850 is the most responsive and gets the power to the ground the best from the driver seat its a mid range engine so deffently feels like more then 10 hp extra

Take your pick.

IMO they should be dynoed at the elevation they are intended to be ridden at.

But that's just my 2C
