Highways crew reported 25cms in Chappell lot this morning!!!! Lucky buggers who get in there tomorrow.

Get after it man. Support the patch and burn some gas. Have fun. I’ve got to experience breaking trail into Chappell on two occasions after a heavy overnight snowfall. It honestly doesn’t get much better.

We are staying at the NV cabins by McBride.
Debating on where to go tomorrow.
We did Belle today. It needs snow.
We dont really want to run Renshaws trail until groomed.
Tossing the idea of Chappel. Anyone local enough to say if it would be worth the drive tomorrow from McBride?

Haven’t heard from the boys that went to Chappell. They must be looking for gas. Or they possibly got locked out of snow and mud. I’m sure there’s a logical reason for no pics or updates.

Trail was absolutely brutal. Whoops and creeks galore. Up top was half decent. Probed 75cm at the top of the hill just past the meadows. It was a bit deeper in some of the more sheltered areas. I had a blast, the wife not so much.

Was with Dawizman and his wife today. As well as 3 others.
I enjoyed Chapple. Trail was alot like Renshaw. Rough.
Lost my brand new GPS out there today. I guess a hole wore through my handle bar bag. So it and my tools that I kept there are gone.
Measured the snow up top. 74cm
Did a column test. On the 6th tap from my wrist the column broke in 3 levels.
2" from the top. 10" from the top. And 3" from the bottom.
