Anyone get pictures of the truck stuck on Allen trail?
Just wondering why they won’t sell them at the door Ron?Looks like its clear tonight and tommorow, then snow is in the forcast for the next few days. Hmmm, should be good next week.
Also a reminder to all, Mountain Mania Banquet is in Valemount on Saturday January 19, 2019, at the community hall, Buy your tickets now as they are selling and wont be sold at the door. Only a few more weeks, this is in support of the new Allen Creek Cabin and Varda. See, Mountain Mania XI - Valemount, BC - Jan 19, 2019 - Tickets Available Now.

I had the same reaction!!What??
What??
Truck and trailer...There was a post on Facebook stating Allen could not be groomed, as a truck that attempted to drive up the trail was stuck on the trail.
Truck and trailer...
I really hope the story comes out behind that logic.
What??
I had the same reaction, if i was the groomer operator id be throwing a chain around the axle and dragging it back to the staging area. But thats just me.

1. It is classified as a private event for both insurance and liquor license. With tickets at the door it is not a private event anymore. This changes big time then for both liquor licence obligations and insurance premiums.
2. The caterer is planning to cook for 150 people which means we must sell 150 tickets and there is a shortfall who pays for that, Us. We have to let them know 7 days prior to the event.
3. This event In Valemount typically sells out in the first week of January. And we always end up getting asked by many peeps to get in and we have a capacity that we can’t.
So if you or any one that is planning on attending this don’t beat around the bush too long or you will not be able to attend this banquet.
Otherwise back to Valemount conditions thread, let it keep snowing and providing awesome conditions for us to all enjoy and talk about.
