Higgins have you talked to Rod lately?

It’s been raining for two days over here in Quesnel, and the temps looked a little colder on the McBride side. I’m thinking they must of got some fresh snow over the last few days....

Its raining on and off here but as your get closer to the BC border from here it's turning into snow. I'm guessing they are getting some snow higher up as they are just a stones throw west of Kakwa.

It sucks that it didn’t... it was one of the best places to take the wife out for dinner and drinks after a day on the hill. Now it’s just drinks in the cabin and some BBQ I suppose (or Chinese buffet depending on the days we are there)

Did the Gigglin’ Grizzly ever reopen?

There's rumours about the Grizz reopening on the weekends, but nothing to confirm it. But don't worry, Sue and me Eatery opened up and the food is awesome, had the rack of ribs Friday night ..... fantastic, can have a few beers or wine with dinner, great place to take the wife and kids.

There was light snow at the house off and on today but no accumulation, tops were socked in all day and have been getting a bit the last couple days, but really need a dump soon!

Finally got out on the sled. All I can say is we need snow, badly!! Renshaw on Saturday was pretty good, clear skies and decent snow on the front slopes and in the backside meadows, went back to the falls, all in all lots of fun to be had. Just came down from Lucille, absolutely brutal, conditions I would've expected on remembrance day weekend ,not December. If your headed this way Renshaw is the place to go. Hopefully the forecast holds up and we get some fresh this week. 20181208_122334_resized.jpg 20181209_110535_resized.jpg

Somewhere in here someone was saying there’s 4’ in the Ant Hills but no one could say if that was total or new or what. I can’t see it being new snow...

We probed between 3 1/2 - 4' of snow total on Saturday, close to level with the cabin deck. Should be a lot more now though, as I'm looking at about 4" on the ground here at the house that fell overnight, and more in the forecast for tonight.
