Not sure where else you ride but our group consistently finds blue river trails to be susbtatially worse than anywhere else we ride. Bad enough to the point we feel we shouldn’t have to pay the non existent groomer a fee to use the “groomed”trails

You're not wrong, but honestly we could say th esame about 80% of the trail fee riding areas in the Canadian Rockies.

That’s what makes blue river good
it’s the last place left to get away from the crowds sometimes
I do wish there was places that only get groomed every 5-7weeks that would keep most peeps out and more freash lines at any given time of the year

I like places that never get groomed.
Ironically a lot of the time they have the smoothest trails.
I have not found this to be true. ^

To the other points being made. Maybe I've gotten lucky the last few years as I don't get out much anymore but the trail is usually more than acceptable, not counting the sections in North blue and salmon that can't be groomed. 7 - 10 years ago this wasn't the case. It's improved. User numbers went up by a lot and the money did not go into someone's jeans.

Sounds like you should try valemount. They have well groomed trails and cabins. Blue river isn't really that good anyways

Rode in Blue today.
Easy 3' fresh but it has not bonded to lower layer.
Easy to trigger events.
