Are people still riding from Finn staging area or do we need Decks yet?

You can go from the parking lot, but will have 2 km dirt with a little ice on edges to the first switchback, getting to be deck time

Has anyone been riding in the Salmon area in the last few days? If so how is the snow holding up?

Also, how far are you driving up to unload now?

I think we will bring the deck instead of the 23' enclosed either way. Leave the back up at home.

Rode salmon yesterday, drive up to 4 km and a good turn around, only have about 150m of dirt and then snow all the way in

Wicked good 1 1/2 feet fresh
goat path on steep section to cut block is torn up pretty good

We were 2 Polaris with Yamaha/Yeti snow bike.

Agree, snow was really good in Salmon. Access into there is getting chewed / rutted up in spots.

We went to Groundhog EAST today. OK snow with a couple inches untouched. Trail in off main trail in good shape. Only 3 of us in there so worth it.

How's Redsands access? How far is the drive in?

Very few sledders out here this weekend. Heard nothing about Redsands on people we talked to. Had heard from a group we saw on Friday in Salmon that area was getting lean and landlines were getting exposed versus other areas. Sorry, not much help!

Was in Salmon Friday, only ten guys in there, was good, no landmines where found, snow was good, trail in is getting sketchy

Lots of natural southwest facing thermal slides happening due to wet snow on Wednesday
