Just like it says let's see your harvest picures.

We got 12 geese this morning.
Man not shooting skeet really showed!

Will post some pics when back home from farm.

Like every year my daughter and I start off with geese at the farm.
27 so far and probably go for on more weekend with some friends.

I have my cow elk draw for the farm and cow moose muzzle loader draw for Camp Wainwright.
Julia has her bull elk general tag for the farm and then the general white tail tags.
Should be filling a few relatives freezers.

Yes we like to hunt!

And picked up a Artic Cat 700HDX for hauling game and towing the goose decoy trailer.

Our group went out on Saturday evening and limited out on Canadas.
Crazy action. They were trying to land while we were picking up birds.
For the last half hour we just called.
Had about 300 birds walking in the decoy and past the blinds and more circling and landing all over field.
Most birds I ever saw in one night.
65# of deboned goose in freezer.
Noisey buggers.

So you are saying the birds aren't getting any smarter?

Did 20# 0f cracked pepper jerky last weekend and did 20# sweet and spicy today.
Still have 40# of bagged goose in the freezer. Jalipino smokies are next.
Made a big 1/4" thick slab of sweet and spicey with maple syrup glaze to slice up.......first attempt but the recipe sounds good.
After the dehydrators everything gets one hour smoke.

My son in law is an outfitter/guide , helped him out a bit this year running hunters to spike camps and picking up the animals they harvested to the meat shop. He has always had a high success rate in both moose and elk , worked out again this year . We picked up this moose last week , 57.5 inches , big moose for this area. Another ine of the clients was from Argentina , brought him back in with his 50 incher, he was pretty pumped.
