Pictures of some amazing riding conditions were flooding in all weekend and it seems that winter is not over yet.

Night time temperatures are remaining cool and the trails are holding up well. Some bare patches exist on the Clemina trail up until the 6km marker, but nothing that should shy anyone away from riding. Groomers are still out on regular schedule, but as we move farther into April, we will update as things change.

With more snow in the forecast for the weekend, it looks like there will be ample opportunity for some face shots! It’s still time to ride!

If you haven’t already done so, please check out the sponsor listings on our website and show some love back to the businesses that support snowmobiling in Valemount. Without their support, we could not be as active as we are!

Remember to always be aware of your surroundings and the current avalanche conditions. Read your local bulletin from avalanche.ca before every ride.

Logging is still on going in Clemina and riders MUST use only the groomed trail and stay off the logging road at all times. Failure to do so will cause us to lose access to the area. If you are in an area affected by wildlife closures, it is YOUR responsibility to know where you are in relation to the boundaries.

For the most recent photos and video, please follow RideValemount on Facebook and Instagram.

Below are pics from a short rip into Chappell today.

Ride safe.
