Brp screwed up and didn't do much to stay way above ...

But we will see if the Polaris can stay together, will a crappy track record

How did BRP screw up? You are going to lose your Doolaide membership.

As far as I can tell from reading the thousands of posts on here the Summit is the best mountain sled ever built. Why would they even try to change that? Haha

prolly also PC. Paint wouldnt last on rails or spindles. I also see in a vid that its same old driveshaft wit a collar on. All that new tech and no driveshaft redesign?? Lol oh well, maybe they dont wanna risk it

yah its weird. they could have made the insert longer. made the shaft thicker material......... but the collar works so whatever. doesnt bother me mine has one.

The Polaris engineers answered the question on paint or powder coat on the axys chat last night. They said powder coat tunnel and painted rails. Can't find the answer right now to take a screen shot.

I have one concern with the poo 3", to me the lugs are a little on the small size. The larger lugs scoop more snow at once where the smaller lugs grab smaller bites. Time will tell.
Little lugs and lots of windows. I think this track might be a fail in the making.
Like their new motor, only time will tell if it's worth the $16 000 with freight and PDI they have it listed for online.

Lol yea? That means I've seen a lot of these tracks suck first hand. I think in the 3" version it will be fine lugs look stiffer the issues with the past tracks is there is no chew to them

They "look" stiffer hey? Lol, youve sure got a good eye to be able to come to that conclusion from a few pics lmao.
The stiffer 5.1 version that was on the assault is actually the track that sucked. Nothing at all wrong with the powder "softer" one thats on the pro.
Aaaand what about the 3" powerclaw on cat? Does it not have enough lugs? Or do they "look" like theyll brake better cause the old track didnt brake good enough hahaha....... Lemme guess....The x3 tho its got the perfect placement and amount of paddles with the correct stiffness. Fak ive owned them all at the lower lugs heights and not one design has noticably outshined the next, beat it kid

Haha listen to yourself blab on and on with BS. Camoplast does more research on these tracks than anyone and guess which one most closely represents the most popular aftermarket track in the world. I think this polaris track will perform better than the cat one don't really care for that design myself

$16K before options....

I have a feeling there will be a lot of cheques in the range of $18.5- 19k out the door...

MSRP on the Polaris sleds has been higher than the Doo for a few seasons. Yet they were selling for a higher discount in the MSRP than the Doo's were.

Only $300-400 higher this year MSRP on the comparable sleds. Many RMK's sold for $2500-3500 lower than that.

No really comparison on a sled when someone adds thousands in accessories. At least with the Polaris you can have some sort of colour combinations that may suit the average person who does not want to change the colour or wrap the sled. Doo you get black, yellow and orange? Close to 20 combinations for the Polaris.
