Anybody venture into Area 51? Has there been enough snow down lower to fill in the willows yet?

We rode area 51 today. We drove and parked at km 21, road was in great condition. Rode up from there and the trail is decent buy the willows are terrible! Lol don't take a new shiny sled up there! Snow in the trees was real good, about 2' of softer snow. Snow was harder up top from the wind. We didn't see any sleds and barely any tracks. All and all it was a great time, just chilly! -13

i think they take credit and debit now, but im not a 100% on that.

They do have Debit machines for debit and credit but there have been a few occasions where the machines were not working %100. Best to carry a $20 bill.

We have been having problems with the debit machines, please bring cash for the time being. Might be the cold weather.

Went up Sale a few days ago,,,,, WOW trail was murder!! Absolute worst I have ever seen it. There was some fresh up top but had to look for it

The RSC is parking all members and guests now in the main lots. On the wknds. and during the holidays staff will be parking everyone who enters the lots. We are ensuring access for emergency vehicles, trying to keep everyone out of the way of traffic and making it possible for you to leave when you return to your vehicle. Please co-operate with staff.
Both Boulder and Frisby are being groomed 7 nights a wk. and additional afternoon grooms are being done Thurs-Sat when there is fresh snow and or the numbers warrant it.
