2016/17 Revelstoke Conditions

Both Mtns. are being groomed right now. We will not be charging tomorrow and nor will our staff be trying to park everyone up a steep, icy, snow covered, single lane road.
We are doing the best we can with the conditions that we are dealing with now.
Snow in the forecast and you all better be snow dancing for things to get better. My feet hurt!!!!!

Good to hear Kathy, really wanted to make it to the dinner Friday but can't get away early enough. Have six people staying with us that are in the same boat (damn work).
This is two years in a row, we haven't made it, I'm not a happy camper. Have fun maybe see you all on Saturday.

Can Sale be accessed from the hiway parking lot yet?

We rode sale last Sunday couple trucks/trailers down there in parking lot but you have a few km of more gravel than snow and it melted down low the last few days. Think we parked at 5km and still had at least 3km of rocks mud.

It can be if you want it bad enough.
But there was about 7 km where there was more snow then gravel.

And don't go there expecting to find snow, Sale has the easiest access so it was pounded out a day after the big dump last weekend.

How many KM's up frisby is everyone parking at the moment?

Anywhere from 1-4. Only a good 5ish spots at 4km depending on how guys park. 3km is your best bet. The road anywhere lower from there is fine. Bigger trailers at 2ish.

Went up Keystone on 02 Dec 2016.
Drove to km2 with truck/deck
About 3 inches of snow on road @ km2
4 open creek crossings .
whoops on trail...
but not as bad as Frisby was last Saturday b4 grooming
Branches from alders giving the sled a new
Pinstriping for a couple kms
Probed at 6300 feet...5 feet of snow and socked in

Ya I saw his post. I was thinking that since the highway webcams were showing some fresh in town this morning that maybe guys were able to leave from the lot today
