Chappel trail has lots of snow, so does Allan.

Rode Allan yesterday, as usual it's pounded out. Found a couple nice spots heading back past Avalanche alley. Trail was groomed and in excellent shape, love that short trail, leaves ya with lots more energy.

Hey guys rode allen Tuesday as merc said it's fairly pounded but superbowl and beyond is really good. Yesterday we rode keyhole the trail is getting a bit thin at the bottom but up top it was awesome we worked our way back a ways and the trees were awesome doesn't look like anyone had been back there in a while the snow and weather was fantastic.

seems like pretty mixed reviews , some comments show a "reload" and others say "pounded" is it safe to assume that the regular "main areas" are beat up but good snow to be found if you look for it?

Allen is only pounded on the beaten path we got off the beaten path and it was good but from superbowl on hadn't really been touched when we were there Tuesday and it was fairly deep back there.

It has been another great week of riding in the Valemount area and with the upcoming forecast, it looks like we are in for a weekend of amazing weather. We have been receiving small snowfall events almost every night this week and the snow is still quite good. Fresh snow levels vary quite a bit and you may have to get off the main path a little bit to find the deep pockets although they are certainly out there.

Our groomers are still out in full force and we have full coverage from all of our staging areas.

As we are getting warmer and warmer weather with the incoming of spring, we may begin to see natural hazards such as creeks, sink holes etc. on the trail and in the alpine so please ride in control and to the trail conditions.

It’s still a complex winter snowpack at higher elevations, and the weather forecast for the next few days is for sunshine and high temperatures. We’re looking at a significant change in weather, essentially moving from winter to spring. The snowpack hates big changes and this warming means buried weak layers will become easier to trigger.

Please ride AWARE. Read the conditions carefully at www.avalanche.ca before you head out. Observe and assess as you move through terrain and know where you are in relation to the hazards noted from Avalanche Canada.

Pictures attached are from yesterday in the Old Hillclimb area in Clemina Creek

look at this idiot! This is in Allen creek in Avalanche alley, his track sidehilled all the way across the big wide opened Avalanche path.. I bet when he gets killed people will be coming out saying oh this guy was a smart rider, he never took any risks, he was very informed of the avy risks every day. Sorry guys but this is ridiculous most of the avys that people are dieing in are preventable, like you should know it's an active avy area why are you testing your luck! All it does is make everyone in the sledding community look like we are uninformed and bad decision makers... Most of us arnt, most of us calculate our risks and ride to conditions. I know there's always risks and sometimes something slides that maybe isn't such a bad spot but when you put yourself in an active Avalanche area what do you expect is gonna happen?

That's nothin man lol. 3 weeks ago avalanche alley. Group of 4 sitting at the bottom and 2 climbing at the same time for about an hour. I was waiting for someone to trigger it but like fawk I was going down there to warn them and risk my life. They were lucky the snowpack was stable that day but we all know they didn't know that lol sad
