Looks like we will have quite a bit of sun this week so this will affect the open areas a bit. The rider numbers are down a lot early/mid week so the areas just off the goat path should still be quite good.

Heading out tomorrow to judge first hand so Ill bring back some info.

What this wk looking like Curtis? Group of us heading down on thrus.

Looks like Allen was pretty good today.

Thanks to @dannyturbo for sending this photo in.

To help with the question above, we have had significant snowfall and winds over the last week. ALL mountain areas need to be respected as far as potential hazard goes. If you do not have the training and experience to deal with the problems listed on Avalanche Canada then you simply need to pull back and stick to low angle terrain or make sure you are riding with people who are experienced in dealing with the hazards that we have now.

Remember, the one thing you can control out in these areas is the terrain you choose to expose yourself to. Just look at the avalanche terrain exposure ratings for the popular managed areas. They are found in the trip planning section at Avalanche Canada Most of the terrain is rated as simple in many of the areas. This proves that we can almost always go riding and have a killer time in low risk terrain. We are our own worst enemies when it comes to the terrain we think is suitable for the conditions as we understand them. Human factors such as familiarity, complacency and acceptance often sway our individual decision making abilities. Don't let this happen to you and your group!

Ride safe

This is what's all about.
I still have a pair of prescription glasses from walmart which I found on the Keyhole trail..

Items were found by someone and they're working on getting them returned.
