2014 / 2015 Valemount Conditions and Updates

Meals on Wheels will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Feb 14th at the Valemount Legion from 5-8pm. $13 gets you a heaping plate of spaghetti & meatballs, salad and garlic toast. Children under 10 will pay a dollar per year of age.

Come on out for a good home cooked supper and to support a great cause.

Would be an even bigger fundraiser if you charged the adults $1 per year of age too!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a group or locals to ride with on the 21st and 22nd. I'm coming up solo from Saskatchewan, both my usual riding groups are not going back till late march which is to long of a wait for me. Tree's and aggressive riding is more my type. Let me know, easy to get along. Not an ego'd prick, just a good ol' Sasky boy. Thanks.

When we left Chappell yesterday afternoon. Seen the clouds coming in quick. So we started to head back.
It was snowing so hard and blowing we could barely se our track to get out . Another few min and we might have had a sleepover. Snowpack was heavier than what we had ridden the two days prior at Clemina .

went a bit north of valemount today and got rained on all day (to alpine...)

anyone ride clemina or allen? was it raining?

Rode Clemina, rained at parking lot and up to the alpine to morning glory. Then snow, also snowed at the cabin. Half away down trail, snow changed back to rain.

Was the same in allen today. Bad visibility, snowing hard in alpine, turned into pouring rain on the way down.

keep our fingers crossed that it stays snow in the alpine. .......forecasted low of minus one tonight....here's hoping

Pretty nuts that in the middle of February we are all cheering for any temps with a minus in front of the number and hoping for snow in the alpine not rain..........just say'in

BEAUTY day at allan today. rain didnt hit the alpine snow was actually very good! The wind has done some strange things relocating snow all over the place but there is good snow to be had

Had a sunny blast this last weekend. First timer to Valemount and we rode Clemina & Allan, with some descent snow !
Awesome cabins and map signage.....Kudos to VARDA !

Wicked video Curtis. Some beautiful looking terrain and views. And that turbo!!!! Sounds amazing, reminds me a listening to a turbine engine. Also sounds like it has a waste gate due to the lack of turbo fluttering.

Rode Climina yesterday and Chappell today and everything is beat down there is no new snow, It was like driving on the freeway
