Just spoke with a group that was up there the other day and they said that it wasn't too bad. A bit icy in places but not whooped out too bad.

Thx well 4 days to go and I and 3 others will out in valemount for 6 days let's hope that system that is building blankets every place out the with some fresh snow for all to play in

Unfortunately grooming operations have ceased in the area although riding most certainly has not. The snow was quite good this week as we reaped the benefits of the last round of precipitation last sat/sun.
We are getting more precipitation at this time and from the valley bottom it looks to be falling as snow although currently there is no hard evidence of this. With three days of forecasted precipitation, I am guessing alpine conditions are going to improve substantially.
Please remember that while it may feel like spring, we are still a few weeks behind and the SPRING CLOSURE dates remain the same. Small River, Dave Henry, Dixon etc. are all still closed to snowmobiling. Please see our website for a complete listing of opening dates.
Clemina: Trucks decks and smaller trailers should now be staging at the 3km turn around. From 4km the trail is in very good shape.
Allen Creek: The snowline is begins just after the collection booth although begins to disappear at 3km on the new trail. Riders are recommended to use the old trail up for access at this time.
Chappell: Sorry we have no first had reports of this access although we would guess that the first switchbacks are quite bare but the rest of the trail should be in great shape.

Raining here in at the lodge this morning temp -1 at 8:15 am , looks socked in uptop so let's hope it's dropping some white gold up there. Weekend could be promising common precipitation and drop in temp.
