Pretty sick day in the snow and sun today. The new snow is extremely variable with the distribution ranging from 3" to ????? depending on where you are. We found some amazing snow today in the leeward (wind loaded...N/NE/E locations). The quality of the snow really depended on where you went to look for it as the winds have been ripping up there.

My days off have been limited this winter so far and now that I have some time off I would like to get out sledding Thursday, Friday this week. Anyone in the same boat but doesn't want to go out by themselves looking for a riding partner?

Valemount received upwards of 25cm of snow on the valley bottom on Monday March 3, which made for some great early week riding as seen by pics and vids on the previous page. Light snowfall has continued on and off over the last couple of days although we are unsure of accumulation amounts in the alpine at this point. We should be set up for a great weekend of riding.
