To the group climbing in avalanche alley. You are idiots! What don't you understand about "avalanche area do not stop"

There were some nasty climbs going on this weekend and im not sure why the snow was great. Either way climbing avalanche alley is not just stupid for your own good but it puts everyone ele passing through safely at risk

It's probably the same bunch I yelled at 3 weeks ago ! , and they just stared at me like a deer in headlights ! and the sad part of it was that they were climbing in tandem , and three's !!!! I had to get out of there ! they would not listen !!

They are just as stupid in Revy. Watched a group of about 20 sitting at the bottom of Turbo Hill on Boulder climbing. Avy rating was HIGH for the weekend. Guess they didn't get the memo or have very short memories?

Ya I don't even bother talking to those people anymore. There was some guys doing it last year climbing two at a time and I asked if they knew that it was a avalanche area and they just said ya we know. So I just got outta there.

yes seen same thing at allen and clemina, this is why when a snowmobiler dies i feel sorry for the people they leave behind, also an other thing that gets meis drinking, I'm not against someone having a beer, especially in parking lot, (better than while riding) but please pick up after yourself or bring your mother to do it, I'm tired of coming off hill to find beer cans left to pick up

Had a good weekend in Vale, glad I made this trip.... sure looks like the access trails are going to fall apart quickly with this warm March weather. Saw alot of stupid tracks in Chappell, and especially Clemina, guys taking some BIG risks out there.

I think that you should just leave the beer for the hotel not the hill or the parking lot if you wouldn't do it on a 500 pound sled don't do it in a 3000 pound truck with a trailer in tow I think if its that important to drink while out driving around maybe you have bigger problems than just being an idiot climbing where you shouldn't just my opinion though and I'm not saying your the idiot doing it just generalizing

Sorry folks, been away for the weekend so no first hand reports from me. From chats with the boys, the open areas are definitely turning to full on spring conditions although there is still great snow if you look for it and try something new. Luckily the night time temps are freezing the trails nicely which is helping a lot for trail conditions.
