Rode Allan with Caper11 yesterday....its all packed snow with very little areas to find if any un touched decent snow. We managed to find a area to play in for a good hour but its spring riding out there
Rode Clemina on saturday. Parking lot is all but melted but the trail was the best trail I've ridden all year, even on the way down. Kudos to the guys. Found a fair bit of spring snow and quite a few untouched lines through the trees in places, but definitely heavy setup stuff.
rode keyhole saturday and allen sunday. Both had full coverage on the trails. Actually in pretty good shape. Its hard to keep the sleds cool in the morning from the snow being so frozen. Keyhole had quite a bit of untouched snow/lines. there was only 1 other group in there so lots lefts. Trail up through the trees is pretty sketchy though. One of the pulls is like a skating rink. had to make a new trail up beside it. Allen is pretty pounded. We are usually pretty adventurous at finding new spots but really couldn't find anything all day. Snow does get better in the afternoon when the sun softens it up. Was +17 on sunday. I am sunburned and my nose is peeling.
We rode north blue on friday. Was good snow coverage right from the parking area.
