Hey,Depsnolvr How Is The Camera Mounted On Your Sled In The View From The Front On Your Latest Video? Pictures? Thanks.

Great group of guys creating this custom mount. Email hardoncameramounts@hotmail.com. Prett sick setup and we are just testing out the first designs now. It is quite sizeable but with anyting smaller you will never get the powder shots as seen in the last vid, just a snow cloud. Check em out.

Rode there today, played in the trees till the weather broke. The there was big wet snowflakes and foggy, we had fun.

On a side note I met the groomer without a lead sled to warn sledders coming down the mtn. I was driving slow, but met him on one of the switchbacks, common occurance?

Sorry for your surprise caper, but im hard pressed to beleive that any club has a lead sled for the groomer(maybe on a very rare occasion). Safety is of highest priority, but users must WATCH FOR GROOMER AT ALL TIMES, its simply a common understanding and there is signage stating it as well. Control your speed on the trail, keep right and ride with caution as you never know when or what is heading up the trail.

Any time I rode McBride I've always meet the groomer with a pilot sled w/ flagging. I rode Chapple over Christmas coming down at dusk around a turn down hill an being in the right light the groomers lights were not powerful enough for me to see until I completely crested the hill an he took up the whole trail an I had no where to go. He had to back up for me..... An I wasn't going Mach chicken by anymeans, but it caught me off guard. I know Chapple has some nasty drops an in the right circumstances the rider better choose the right decision. Also being family day weekend not all the riders are experienced on those trails so it would be easy for one to panic.

well before heading out in morning check to see if your trail is up for grooming that night then you will know to watch for him on way out. If staying in town volunteer to be lead sled that day if you really think it needs to be done. Ive sledded 20 years an never had a problem

Rode Chappell today they got no snow,all tracked up...Rode Foam yesterday and snow was awesome,if u want I would recommend Salmon,Foam,Groundhog.....1st pic Foam,2nd Chappell....Was pretty cool saw a bunch of small kids ripping around the lake....One of them got stuck and 2 of his buddies were helping to get him out...so I went to get him out I asked they how old they were they and they "5-6yrs old" I had a good laugh they were telling me his sled is a 550 the other kid riding a 800...was pretty cool to see..
BTW Curtis maybe u can answer this.We were heading down the trail at Chappell and the chopper landed looks like on the trail around a switchback around km 7-10 as buddy had to put some gas in his sled...Just curious on what was up,we thought maybe they were trying to get a guy for maybe riding the closure...

As stated by Maxwell, sick day in Clemina today with 30+cm of fresh overnight. Sun, great snow and some great company made for an amazing day.

Allen and Clemina groomed up fresh tonight!

Ground hog was great today. A little socked in but fun in the trees. Allen creek had good snow yesterday but didn't get past the hill climb as the weather was ch!t.
