Arrived late this afternoon drove up Climina unloaded at the 4.5km mark just past the first bridge. Had to ride maybe a total 1 km of dirt patches. Lots of snow left, great spring conditions. Try and throw up more pictures tomarrow night. IMG-20120509-00021.jpg IMG-20120509-00018.jpg

Rode Allen today. Unloaded just past the gate. Dirt patch's for the first 3.5km and then full coverage. still lots of snow but pretty hard and wind swept. Rode for about 8hrs.

Y didn't this guy just trench it in when the sled starting going backwards? could have saved himself some parts. It's always the last ride of the season lol

our group will be riding valemount this friday/saturday. i think were heading up clemina the first day, we'll see for the second.

is there room to turn around a 2 place trailer up there? or do we have to unhook and do the 30 point turn with the truck?

Your going to have to unhook your trailer depending on your backing up skills. Maybe a 3 point turn.

Hey Folks, it took us two broken trucks, one tow truck, and we finally got to the snow line. We are unloading at 7.5km in the clemina area. A two place trailer can turn around by hand, and large trailers can turn around at 6.5 where there is a huge staging area, but they will need to drive on .5km of full gravel. From 7.5 there is a few full gravel spots up to 50m in length. Its time for true spring riders only, if you wont ride some gravel, its not the time for you!

Im sorry, but after a two broken trucks, my camera was left in the tow truck.....no pics until tomorow. We are riding on over a 195cm base and this is some of the best spring conditions i have seen. May long should be sick!

The pic below is from my buddies phone and the only one i have until tomorrow.....sorry

The CN shack along the tracks by Allen creek.
Good to hear we can unload at 7.5. We unloaded at km 5.5 on Saturday and it sure was a dusty two km ride to the snow line. Anytime you can shred in shorts and a t shirt is a good time Can't wait to get back.

Hey Curtis do you think July will be good for a ride by going off the snow that you see is still up there?
I kinda like riding gravel if it leads to some snow.

Here are a few pics of the trail from where we staged, the 10km laydown, 6.5km staging (must ride full gravel from here to snowline but bigger trailers have tonnes of room) and the one patch of snow that we must still drive through, but should be gone by the weekend
