Just got a call from my buddy Norm Belanger, they went into Groundhog today and were riding in 3-4ft of fresh and that wasn't in the trees.

They have lifted the Freezing Rain Warning & Issued a Snowfall Warning !

Up to 25 cms. for North Columbia , North Thompson , Kinbaset !!

It Rained South & North of Blue River also Today....

Not doing anything out there right now.....

The AVALANCHE RISK will be HIGH - EXTREME !!

I don.t recommend Travel to the Mountains for the next 24 Hours...( MY Opinion Only !! )

I have NEVER heard of melting in January as this is supposed to be the Coldest Month in Winter !

Our Current Conditions are ....

Temp, @ 2:00pm is -4.8 C. I can see patches of Blue Sky the Sun has been out most of the Morning....

The Valley Bottom is Solid Ice !....pretty hard walking across the Street even ! I am wearing Cleats on the bottom of My boots !

Ohhhh Man...can You imagine the Snow up TOP !.....Remember We just got 3 FEET Of Snow a few days ago !

I have Guests on the Mountain right now ...soooo I will be giving a Fresh off the Mountain Report tonight !!

AVALANCHE is the worst it has been in 30 Years they say...BUT....

There is LOTS of SAFE places to Play ...so KNOW BEFORE YOU GO !

Play Safe and You will be having a BLAST Its ALL Good !

The Powder up Top will probably be FACE DEEP !
