OK......Updates & Conditions !

Current Temp. @ 11:45am is -1.1 C. Overcast the Sun is trying to Poke through !

......YIKES....The Freezing Rain We have been getting has Everything VERY SLIPPERY !

The Roads " Black Ice " to Watch out for....

Some of The Parking Lots in Town are like a Skating Rinks !

Ok.....They are saying 10 cms. for the Dec. 11 , and 10cms. for Dec. 13 , another 10cms. for Dec 14 and then the Sun should come out to Shine on Dec. 16 !

Today Friday Dec. 10.....

I have these AWESOME NEW Guests ( New to the Holy Smoke Inn ) and they said " Hey where should We Ride Today ? ".....

We said well Ground Hog should be good ! So with the use of the Radio off they went !

They ALL get down to Finn Creek and unload proceed up the Road after calling out where We were it was Clear to go.....

They get about 1 1/2 Km. and ...WAM !!!!!!

RCMP & Forestry !

Welll.....They want Insurance & Registration , Drivers Licensee

After much Discussion They were EACH Given a $58.00 Fine and a really Good Tongue Lashing they were Forced to Turn around and go To Foam Creek !

The RCMP Came by the Holy Smoke Inn and brought Rules & Regulations about being on a " ACTIVE " Logging Road without proper Insurance & Registration for that Sled / ATV , Vehicle.

Constable Tonn Sat with ALL of Us and had " Q & A " It was Pretty Good....

Bottom Line He in His Words " Yup We set Up that AMBUSH " After a earlier Incident that happened within the last 2 Weeks....We received a Complaint !

Well I know that some Sledders went up Ground Hog without a Radio or anything and almost got taken out by a Logging Truck soooo thats pretty MAJOR !

He did not say that ....I just knew that and said it....

Sooooooo GREAT My NEW Guests get the TICKET !

Constable Tonn said it could have been a lot worse ! He said I could have taken the Sleds and Hold them for 30 Days and write Tickets for No Insurance , No Registration , No Drivers License....

We said You can't Buy Insurance in BC for a Sled ! He Shrugged His Shoulders .....It is Ileagal to Operate a Sled / ATV / Vehicle on a ACTIVE Logging Road without Proper Insurance & Registration.....

Const. Tonn contnued saying that the Detachment has been receiveing numerous Complaints about Sleds running around Town.......

We Informed Him that 80 % was MW Staff ! ( TRUE FACT ) So He will look into that !

He also wanted to know more about Our Snowmobile Club and We told how HARD Blue River Powder Packers have been Working to get these Trails ALL Mapped and ALL The Signs that have been put up !

He Informed Us that this AMBUSH Could take place again soooooo......

FINN CREEK / GROUND HOG You MUST Have Insurance , Registraion , Drivers Licence , Radio as long as it is a " ACTIVE " Logging Road....NO Sledding on a Plowed Logging Road

He said it might not be a $58.00 Ticket next time.....

He dropped Off the Rules & Regulation here and away He went .....

Soooooo I really HOPE They will be done Logging by the end of December.....

I will keep You ALL posted on that one !

THEN......The Oilers Hockey Game wasn't on.....UNTIL.....They found it on a Promo Channel......LOL ( I got Lucky there...LOL )

I gave them ALL Free T-Shirts and bought Them some Beer.....

I really HOPE They come back and Join Us Next Year !.......

Conditions in Blue River on Thursday up Foam Creek They reported 1 Foot Fresh Powder !

It is Currently Snowing in Blue River !

Temp. @ 12 :40am. is -1.1 C.

Come on ULAR Bring it on !!

Squeeze out a Dump of 3 Feet Please.....LOL

Well at least with the warm Temps. there will Finally be a Base setting up !

5 feet of Pow to Dirt is No Fun !......LOL

he can only delete posts he has made.... and yes you can delete post if you want too aswell ....but only your post... mods are the only one that can delete some one elses posts...

Solution for Finn Creek !

Ok....You can DRIVE Your Trucks Up to 10 km. unload there and Wha La....Good to go !

Only Two Problems....

# 1. MUST Have a Radio.....Holy Smoke Inn Guests will have Ours....

# 2. Only Trucks with Sled Decks & Light Trailers can do this as there is No place to turn around the Big Trailers....

Where there is a Will....There is a Way !
