my newly aquired m8 has slp exhaust , shim kit, boondocker control box, d&d helix & springs, 162 x 2.5 track, anti-stab kit, & a boss seat. Its a nice ride, hope it performs well in mcbride next weekend.

is there somthing wrong with the dd ,is that why
Some people have had issues. My wife's 08 M8 still has the original diamond drive, and that sled is modded and been driven like it was stolen. My M1K DD was replaced with a DD lite drive in 08, no failures, either. Oil is cheap, change it regularily. I change mine 2 - 3 times a season.

I change mine every 500km just to ensure I keep it together, the oil is cheap and if I change it regularly by tipping it on it side I feel it\ll prolong it, bit is a good idea every seaon to remove and split the case and inspect, the main bearing is worth swapping out for the $25 while you're in there and it's an easier job than you'd think
